i love this feature 

yes it is when Y!Epic is out of focus and an "alert" takes place, for example someone says something with your username in. it's a placeholder so you can easily see when and where they mentioned your name or something in your alert list and follow the train of the conversation.

I assume you simply ignore my release notes.

yeah it highlights certain people and it's a real bright yellow and was wonderin about it?....doesn't do it all the time but with certain people i noticed..hmmm..
