I have been pondering the idea of releasing an open source YMSG wrapper written in object oriented pascal.

Do you think would actually help anyone or would it be used purely for purposes detrimental to maintaining a peaceful chat enviroment?

Thanks,

Lee.

I'm certainly interested. I've managed to become an object pascal addict in recent weeks, and Yahoo!-related software is always great fun.

no  what would complet  this client is if it supported file transfers like ysupra dose butt give the ability turn them on or off know  that would be nice ,,  and have it to suport  the new voice dll file for people on vista  and to support the YMSGv17 login also  would be nice butt  that  would make  this  the ultimate client  and if u  did  that i  would no longer need messenger Smiley

Patience.

Lee is working on yacscom.dll v50 and it'll be done when it's done. There's really not many differences between YMSGv16 and v17 so it really doesn't matter if it's added or not.

EDIT: Lee has added YMSGv15 and v17 to Y!Epic in addition to all four protocols (including 102) working on the SSL.
