Hello,

Network Eye is a small tool that I have created to keep track of network usage. It will monitor your live inbound and outbound data (download and upload) with a live overall aggregated speed read out, average speed, peak speed, and total downloaded or uploaded.

It is very simple to use, and upon initial start, will drop itself to your systray by your clock on the task bar, appearing as a small blue globe. Double click this to view the live monitor interface, or right click to toggle some options and features it has.

You will need to select a network adapter to interface with, and an IP on that adapter.

Apart from that, I hope you enjoy it and find it as useful as I do if you are looking for a small tool like this.

Note it also has a built in Screenshot feature on right click, supporting image output in PNG (Portable Network Graphics) and JPEG formats with PNG being the higher quality of the two (with a bigger file size though of course).

Much like Y!Epic this program is skinned, but has a simple skin provided with it that is forced.

Find the download here:

http://downloads.yimmense.com/InstNetworkEye.exe

The page for this program is here, but at the time of this post remains very minimal:

Enjoy. Wink

Thanks,

Lee.

Looks very nifty Cheesy

I also rely on historical network data. It would be awesome to have a graph like in Windows Task Manager, showing history of Rate/sec, Peak/sec, and Avg/sec for both DL, UL, and a combination of both. Adjusting horizontal zoom, show/hide graphs, graph/line colors, and time stamps would be extremely helpful too.

If you can do this, you have an entirely new product. It would be even better if it could be attached to a particular program to monitor its own network activity. Unfortunately I don't think that's possible.

Speaking of which, do you think it's possible to attach at least a small graph (optional) somewhere in Y!Epic's main screen, like by the connection info button?
