hiya..small issue, i am one of the people who doesnt have messages set to private<i know i know> problems is my avatar folder is full of avatars from people messaging me..its saving non trusted users..think we had this issue before and lee fixed it...be nice to be fixed again so the folder doeant have 1000's of folders and pics.

whether the id is trusted or not, it will download the avatars if you have Enabled the button to download these avatars from other chat clients.
to see this option  go over: Tools--Preferences--Avatar-- Incoming Avatar Permissions tab.

thanx for the reply...i don't have avatars enabled..all boxes are unchecked ...guess i wil have to manually delete them for now.

oh no no no, mazz.. go to tools, prefs, privacy on the left, see the second group of options from the bottom?

ensure Download ALL Display Pictures is not ticked, you mean display pics not chat avatars by the sounds ofit

hi lee thanx for responding...its not checked..not sure if its display pics or not they were in the avatars folder...deleted maybe 250 or so...any other suggestions?

Just checked Avatars folder in Yepic/Program Files.I got 160 display pics in mine despite having "download all display pics" unticked  Shocked .I just deleted them.It looks as if every display pic you view goes in there .

Yeah just tested it by viewing a user display pic.in room.It went straight into Avatars folder despite having that option unticked{download all display pictures}

it seems to of stopped adding peoples avatars/display pics...my settings were set to disable...so i enabled then disabled again and seems to be ok...stuck settings maybe?? i dunno so long as it stops filling up the folder ,i am happy!!
